Share the oldest desert, dry river beds, oldest rocks, many different type of roads, bush vegetation, red sand dunes and the clear Namibian night sky - it belongs to the three clearest on earth - with us.
We overnight either in tents and/or lodges or guest farms. All of them are cosy and typical for the country.

Off-road at its very best. Come and experience the oldest desert in the world while being part of a group of eco-adventurers and off-road enthusiasts. This 7-day exclusive tour ex Lüderitz will take you into the diamond restricted area North of Lüderitzbucht, Namibia along the Atlantic coast to Walvis Bay. The diamond restricted area is only to be seen with us, as we have an exclusive permit from the government. We will not only experience the oldest desert and its challenges while driving through it but also visit the shipwrecks along the coast, world famous Sandwich Harbour lagoon and its flamingos, Conception Bay and the remains of the old diamond searching times waiting to be discovered. Overnight will be in tents, a complete camping equipment is part of every vehicle. You only need to bring your personal items and maybe your own torch. The fully fitted 4x4s will be provided, too. Children are welcome.

Big 5 Experience is offering an exclusive guided 6-day tour ex Luanda, Angola, throughout the year but in December and January. Frikkie Engels, the owner will personally guide the tour. Leaving Luanda, you will be taken via Gabela down the escarpment to the Atlantic Ocean back to Luanda. Accomodation will be in hotels with European standard with the exception of two very basic but clean establishments

Breathtakingly beautiful natural landscapes await curious travelers in this safari for the true lover of African flavors and simplicity. Tropical rainforest changes to baobab savannah, waterfalls glitter en route, rivers with abundance of water remind you of an palm tree oasis in North Africa but then the ocean is reached and no hotel or village will spoil the deserted beaches for many many miles. In between you will see traditional villages without the first world influence, colourfully dressed people, immediately laughing at you and only their "Bom dia" will interrupt their smile. The setback? Angolan roads have to be experienced and here the safari is a challenge, potholes are standard but somehow one gets used to that because there is just too much happening outside to distract your mind. This exclusive tour is designed for 6 to 10 persons.

SCUBA DIVING:
Big 5 Experience has the exclusive rights for a scuba diving base in Lucira. The boat hosts up to 6 people. Scuba diving in Angola is a real experience because the coast had been unaffected by the civil war and the marine life is in abundance. Oysters and crayfish are to be found in incredibly big sizes due to a completely unspoilt ocean life. Several species of sharks and tropical fish call a reef their home. Water temperature is in the Southern winter about 18ºC and in summertime 22ºC. Accommodation is in tents/boat. Please bring your own scuba diving gear besides bottles.

PARAGLIDING, ABSEILING, FREECLIMBING:
Big 5 Experience has the exclusive concession for these adrenalin sports. 1300 meters of altitude, straight down the escarpment are breathtakingly beautiful and unspoilt. Here the continental divide between the continents of South America and Africa occurred and the steep cliffs are keeping that memory alive. Accommodation is hotels in Lubango or camping.

9-day fly-in and drive safari with luxury accommodation. Optional extra days with fly-ins are possible. Zambia's wildlife in abundance will be the highlight of each game drive, while the transfers to the various lodges will be mostly by plane.

14-day hiking safari on the tracks of the geologist Henno Martin who wrote "The sheltering desert" and including the Etosha Pan National Park. On this safari all 5 senses are essential to the experience of the Namib Desert. This might include the hiking during daytime but also when night falls, the "braai" under the millions of stars will charme not only romantic souls. Part of the safari will be a stay on a privately owned farm that will only open his "gate" for us, for our exclusive experience of red sand dunes and wide plains we will not have to share with others. A luxury these days, that is not common everywhere in the desert.
